Unilever QR Code Competition

For Unilever’s sub-brand Checkstar, we were tasked with creating a seamless digital experience during an event where guests could scan QR codes, triggering a live competition. The solution had to be both visually engaging and technically flawless, as the stakes were high—around 200 participants expected a smooth interaction in real time.

Our system directed five lucky guests to a winning page while the remaining visitors received a “better luck next time” message. Adding to the challenge, we needed to build a holding page before the competition went live, ensuring that guest didn’t know if their seat’s QR code would win the competition until the competition started and was announced on stage. Timing and functionality were critical: there was no room for glitches.

Winners were celebrated with a trolley dash, and we delivered a stylish, tech-driven solution that kept the event on point.
